Diet Cola

Months ago, Diet Pepsi had this campaign ad that had this ridiculous jingle that said “Research shows that 56% of diet cola drinkers think that Diet Pepsi has more cola taste than Diet Coke. Research”

For some reason this ad campaign was incredibly effective to me. I seriously switched to Diet Pepsi solely because of this ad. I’m not kidding. I, like 56% of other diet cola drinkers tasted the stronger cola taste.

This is especially strange since I categorically LOVE Diet Coke commercials. They are always good. And the Diet Pepsi commercial was not especially good.

Today, however, after having two fountain Diet Pepsis and one fountain Diet Coke this week, I have officially switched back to Diet Coke. It tastes better, and the commercials are more entertaining, albeit not as mysteriously effective.
